Dr Connelly is the only one based in New Plymouth. She is the only paediatric dermatologist south of Hamilton, making iDerm a destination clinic for families across the central and south regions of the North Island and beyond.
Her training and experience spans some of the world's leading paediatric dermatology institutions, including a fellowship at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, Emory University and the University of Minnesota. She has spent two decades diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of childhood skin conditions, from common concerns like eczema and acne through to rare birthmarks and complex genetic disorders.
Paediatric appointments are available both in clinic in New Plymouth and online, making specialist care accessible to families no matter where they are in New Zealand.

Dr Connelly takes the time to understand your child's full skin history before making any recommendations. The first appointment covers their medical background, previous treatments, lifestyle factors and your concerns as a parent. Nothing is missed and your child feels heard, not rushed.

Online Consultations for families
Can't make it to New Plymouth? iDerm's Online Consultation service is available for paediatric consultations, particularly useful for families in remote areas or those wanting an initial specialist assessment before travelling to clinic.
