Dr. Elizabeth “Lisa” Alvarez Connelly is a specialist Dermatologist with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Connelly specializes in treating all conditions related to the skin, hair and nails with additional interest and expertise in Pediatric Dermatology conditions. Currently, she is one of a handful of Paediatric Dermatologists in New Zealand, and the only one in New Plymouth.
Qualifications:
1989-1994- Bachelors of Science - Florida International University, Miami, Florida USA.
1995-1999 - Medical Doctor - University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida USA.
1999-2003 - Dermatology Residency - University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota USA.
2003-2004 - Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship - Rady Children’s Hospital / University of San Diego, San Diego, California USA.
2017 - Vocational registration with certification as Specialist Dermatologist, New Zealand.

Lee Newton is a New Plymouth native and fully qualified aesthetician with 25 years experience in the health and beauty industry. After obtaining her qualifications in New Zealand she ventured to the UK to work in the industry and while there obtained further training in Holistic therapies. Lee is passionate about skin health and skin care products as well as the interaction between nutrition and the skin. .

Gemma is a registered nurse with 10 years experience. Her previous work includes ICU, Emergency Medicine and General Medicine. Gemma has a warm and calm nature with her patients. When she is not busy chasing around her 2 young kids she enjoys baking, eating chocolate and being active.

Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Nursing (Canada)
Jess Currie is a registered nurse (Canada) with close to 15 years work experience. She enjoys assisting in skin surgeries and is quickly catching on to the intricacies of skin health. Her previous work includes experience with occupational health nursing, emergency medicine, intensive care and cardiology. Jess is currently away on Maternity leave and she is greatly missed by the staff.

Jenny Ellington has a diverse background. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education, co-owned a holiday accomodation business, and was a consultant for a moving company. She and her family moved to Oakura almost 10 years ago from the states. She enjoys being active with her family, in the form of adventure racing, tramping, skiing, pack-rafting and biking.
